Terms of Service

Plain English summary: You get access to our directory submission tools when you pay. Payment is one-time. Refunds are available within 30 days. Don't abuse the service. We're not liable for directory rejections or traffic outcomes. Use it responsibly.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SaaSLaunch ("the Service"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SaaSLaunch. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

2. Service Description

SaaSLaunch is a web-based tool that helps founders and product teams:

  • Maintain a database of 100+ product and SaaS directories
  • Generate submission-ready copy for each directory based on product information you provide
  • Track the status of submissions across directories
  • Export submission records as CSV files

Important: SaaSLaunch is a productivity and copy-generation tool. We do not submit products to directories on your behalf. All submissions are made by the user manually. We make no guarantee that any directory will accept, approve, or list your product.

The Service is provided as-is. The quality and availability of third-party directories are outside our control. Directories may change their submission requirements, reject submissions for any reason, or become unavailable at any time.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your password and promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Use one account per person (no account sharing without prior written approval)

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payment Terms

Pricing and Billing

SaaSLaunch offers one-time purchase plans (Launch and Pro). There are no recurring subscriptions unless explicitly stated. You pay once and retain access indefinitely unless your account is terminated for violation of these Terms.

Free Plan

The Free plan is provided at no cost and may have feature limitations as described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to modify Free plan limitations at any time with reasonable notice.

Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.

Prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase under your jurisdiction.

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason within 30 days of your purchase date, contact us at support@directorylauncher.com for a full refund. No questions asked.

After 30 days, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. This is because the product's value (copy generation, directory access, tracking tools) has been delivered.

Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and contest the chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree that you are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of product information you enter into the Service
  • Ensuring your product complies with each directory's submission guidelines and terms
  • All submissions you make to third-party directories using copy generated by the Service
  • Respecting each directory's terms of service, submission frequency limits, and policies
  • Any consequences arising from directory submissions, including approvals, rejections, or bans
  • Ensuring your product and its representation does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent product information. You agree not to use the Service to submit spam or to manipulate directory rankings through deceptive means.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any product information, descriptions, and materials you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your content for the purpose of providing the Service (including sending it to AI models for copy generation).

Generated Content: AI-generated copy produced by the Service is provided for your use. You may use, modify, and publish this copy freely. We make no copyright claims on generated copy.

Our Platform: The SaaSLaunch platform, software, design, directory database, and all related content (excluding user content) are owned by SaaSLaunch and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the platform without our written permission.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Submit products that are illegal, fraudulent, or violate third-party rights
  • Automate or script mass submissions to directories in ways that violate those directories' terms
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our directory database for commercial use
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or deceptive practices
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use bots or automated tools to create accounts or interact with the Service in ways not intended

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination without refund.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Pro plan includes AI-powered copy generation. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not perfectly suited to a specific directory
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated copy before submission
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated copy will be accepted by any directory
  • Generated copy is based on the information you provide — garbage in, garbage out

You retain the right to edit, modify, or reject any generated copy. We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from use of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We specifically disclaim any warranty or representation that:

  • The Service will result in your product being listed on any directory
  • Directory submissions will generate traffic, backlinks, or customers
  • The directory database is complete, accurate, or up-to-date at all times
  • The Service will be available without interruption or error

Directory outcomes depend entirely on the directory operators' decisions, which are beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DIRECTORYLAUNCHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.

11. Termination

By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@directorylauncher.com or via the account settings page. Termination does not entitle you to a refund outside the 30-day window.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms. We may also terminate or modify the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. You may export your data before terminating your account.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Before pursuing formal legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at support@directorylauncher.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.

For EU consumers, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory EU consumer protection laws.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SaaSLaunch regarding the Service.
